At St. David's Church, we believe that Children’s Ministry is one of the most vital ministries a church can have. We believe this because Children’s Ministry was a priority for Jesus. In Matthew 19: 14, the disciples didn’t think that Children’s Ministry should be a priority, but Jesus did. He made time to minister to children. We are therefore called as a Church to make Children Ministry a priority because when you reach children, you also reach their parents and with this in mind, our church desires to connect with the children of our Church and community. At St. David's our facilities have been built in such a way that there is space for children’s nurturing and growth in their early years of formation.
During the worship service, the minister talks about God and the Christian faith with the children using pictures and videos. The children participate in leading worship by doing call to worship from time to time and also participate in collection of offerings and food items for the local Food Bank. The children are introduced to and nurtured in their faith during their Kidz church led by our Christian Education Team.
Once a term, our Children's Ministry lead our Family Sunday worship service and it is always a joy to see them participate in the life of the church this way.
